Rating (1 is low,5 is high):

Access: When travelling along the A470 from the direction of Betws-y-Coed towards Blaenau Ffestiniog travel about half way through the town of Dolwyddelan turn left and cross bridge over the Afon Lledr cross the railway line and bear sharp right. Take the next left and carry along this narrow single track road for about a mile. The turning to Gwyndy newydd Farm would be a good place to look for a spot to park. There is a footpath to the left which will take you onto a forestry road. Follow the road south and the waterfall will be seen in front or to your left.

You could park closer to the fall at Twn-y-cwm Farm and take the obvious route from here to the left bearing right once on the forestry track.

Comment: Pleasant walk.

A nice walk has been suggested using the Railway link it is called Hidden Valley Walk. It looks like a lovely walk.

The last few paragraphs of this walk chronicled in The Cistercian Way Site explain the area well.
