Access: A465(T) from Merthyr Tydfil towards Neath. Go Past Hirwaun. Turn left on the A4109 going under the A465(T). Travel along this road towards Abercraf, after three to four miles turn left towards Coelbren. At the end of the road turn right go through the village at the end of the road by the bridge turn right and there is Free National Trust Car Park. Take the well maintained path down to the river, cross over the bridge and make your way to the waterfall. You can vary the return by walking up steps on this side of the river and walk down the quiet road and across the bridge to the car park.

Comment: Highest single Fall Waterfall in Wales.  Looks just like the highest single fall waterfall in England; Hardraw Force, Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales. You can go behind this one. Free parking and entry although National Trust.  Well maintained. The first two times visited shut due to landslip!

Fforest Fawr Geopark has good information.

There should be a link to the National Trust but they are too lazy to bother to give it a proper account. Which is shame as this is a nice place. It is however well signed from miles away!
