Access: Robber’s Cave. On the Hafod Estate. Is a fantastic place. Take the B4574 from Devils Bridge towards Pont-rhyd-y-groes. Take the small-unclassified road first on the left after about 2.5 miles. Turn right at the end (back onto the B4574) and after about quarter of a mile you will see a small church. Just past the church is a car park. Park here. Take the path to the back of the church down the hill through the trees. After a while you cross a forestry track and continue on down through a pinewood. The sound of Rhaeadr Peirancan be heard and soon comes into view. Pass this fall and continue on down the path until you arrive at a track. Turn left past some cottages until you cross Dologau bridge over the Avon Ystwyth. Follow the footpath signs across the field to your left to a small river called Nant Gau. Follow the river to the end where Robbers Cave is. Enter the cave and at the end the waterfall can be seen falling in front. On this occasion it was frozen.

The whole Estate has an interesting History and I find it fascinating.
